About David Clark
David has a Masters Degree in Education(Ed.M.) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has more than thirty-five years of experience working with high school students, in public and independent schools.
Prior to entering the field of independent college admission consulting David taught college-bound students of all ability levels, including a focus on students in Advanced Placement and Gifted programs. Mr. Clark has served as Director of College Guidance at the Westledge School and he has been a successful high school varsity lacrosse coach at Friends Academy on Long Island.
Originally from New England, David was born into a family of educators; both his parents were teachers. Mr. Clark received his undergraduate degree in History from the College of Wooster and graduate degrees in History from Long Island University and Educational Administration from Harvard.
David has also studied abroad at the City of London College.
David W. Clark, Ed.M., is an experienced independent college admission consultant with a particular sensitivity to the need for matching an individual candidate and his/her parents with the right college environment. On a personal level, Mr. Clark recently successfully completed the college search process with his son.
